Electrician – Congo Africa

Job Summary
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
• Key Responsibilities
• Electrical Installation & Maintenance
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, panels, and electrical equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical installations and equipment regularly to identify potential faults.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, short circuits, power failures, and equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, generators, distribution boards, and other electrical equipment.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and restore electrical operations promptly.
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company safety standards.
• Ensure proper earthing, insulation, circuit protection, and safe load distribution.
• Use appropriate PPE and electrical testing tools while performing maintenance activities.
• Immediately report electrical hazards and major faults to the supervisor.
• Documentation & Inventory
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdowns.
• Maintain and monitor electrical tools, spare parts, and consumable materials.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely completion of electrical work.
• Monitor spare parts and technical materials required for repairs.
