Role’s & Responsibilities

Greeting Guests: Welcome every visitor with a warm smile and set a positive tone.
Managing Bookings: Handle phone calls, digital platforms, and walk-ins using a reservation system.
Seating and Flow: Escort guests to tables and balance table rotations evenly among waitstaff.
Waitlist Management: Estimate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations during busy hours.
Front Area Cleanliness: Keep the entrance and host stand neat and organized.
Communicate table availability and special guest requirements to the kitchen and floor staff.

Menu Guidance: Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer dietary questions.
Taking Orders: Record food and beverage requests accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Food Delivery: Serve meals and drinks safely and promptly while checking food presentation.
Guest Attention: Check back during meals, refill drinks, and clear used plates (pre-bussing).
Billing and Payment: Present checks, handle cash or card transactions, and process payments safely.
